Breastfeeding can be a beautiful experience for mother and child, but sometimes help is needed to get things off to the right start. Having someone to provide support and answer your questions, in your own home, for as many times as you need, can be invaluable. This service is for the mother who just wishes to review her breastfeeding knowledge, address a specific lactation issue, or wants hands-on expertise and immediate help for short intervals of time.

WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE...

You spent a few days trying to figure out this breastfeeding gig and your nipples are sore, cracked, or inflamed. Your breasts feel like they’re about to explode. You’re exhausted, your baby is frustrated, and all you want to do is curl up and cry. Everyone makes breastfeeding look simple, why isn’t it easy for you? The information you received from family and friends is contradictory and everyone on the internet seems to have varying opinions to ensure a good milk supply. You want to quit, but you don’t want to quit. This is so not what you envisioned.

WHAT NOW?
​Enlisting the support of a breastfeeding professional for an in-home lactation visit can be an important step for success. Loree is available to support you in your home with all aspects of breastfeeding; latch, positions, pumping, and troubleshooting. Do you want to know the length of a feeding? She’ll teach you to read your baby’s cues. Do you need ideas to deal with the pain of engorgement? She’ll offer tips and tricks to empty your breasts without causing potential issues later on. Do you want to pump, but haven’t got a clue how all the pieces fit together or even how it all works? She's there to guide you.

When there are issues that a simple change in position, correcting a baby’s latch, or support won’t fix, Loree has the necessary resources to quickly connect you with the professionals you may need to deal with low supply, tongue ties, and inverted nipples. Your goals are her priority, whether that’s exclusively breastfeeding, pumping and bottle feeding, using a supplemental nursing system, or helping you produce enough for your baby and donating your oversupply to a milk bank. However you define your success, she’ll work hard to help you achieve it.
